It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Bernard Firmenich, Vice-Chairman of the Fondation Apprentis d'Auteuil International (FAAI), on Sunday 29 December 2024.
Bernard had joined the Foundation at its creation in 2017, as Vice-Chairman, and worked tirelessly on its development and influence in Switzerland and internationally.
As a much-appreciated and valued interlocutor with the Board, the Foundation's team and all our partners, he has contributed with great efficiency and humanity to the strategic direction of our Foundation, to its good governance and to its success.
Bernard also played a key role in the development of our integration restaurant, the Birdhouse, in Geneva, and was keen to offer young people in difficulty the opportunity of a better future, through training and apprenticeships.
We will remember Bernard Firmenich as an exceptional man, a great humanist, pragmatic and generous. We would like to thank him for all his commitment and support over the years.
