Réseau des Intervenants sur le Phénomène des Enfants en Rupture (REIPER), our partner in the Republic of the Congo

Founded in 2003, REIPER aims to improve the living conditions of children in situations of extreme vulnerability, children who have broken away from their families and children in street situations. REIPER conducts a range of projects, including building the capacities of civil society actors in the fields of child protection and respect for and promotion and implementation of children’s rights in the Republic of the Congo. Based in Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire, REIPER is a longstanding partner of Apprentis d’Auteuil. Together, they run Tobatela Bana (“Let’s Protect the Children” in Lingala), co-financed by the European Union. This project aims to increase awareness and implementation of children’s rights in the Republic of the Congo and strengthen organizations working to protect vulnerable children and promote their rights.
